Description
The Smiths This Charming Man original 1st pressing 12” single released in 1983, RTT136, this is the rare no name on the front cover with Rough Trade dome logo with Columbia oval around it, Morrissey wasn’t happy with the oval around the logo so the covers were stopped but Columbia did not have an issue with it in copyright grounds so the covers were then reintroduced, I would state the cover in a very good + condition, no seam splits but does have handling marks p, shelf life and the start of a seam split as can be seen in the pics, I would state the vinyl in a excellent condition, no skips or jumps but does have hairline marks, these do not affect play, the record plays absolutely perfect on my system, solid centre with nice clean paper labels, matrix numbers = A1/B1, run out wording on the A side = “ Will nature make a man of me yet” from a smoke and pet free home, I’ve seen this 12” single sell for a lot more than the low realistic starting price I’ve set for this classic original rare Smiths 12” single, the single will be posted via Royal Mail signed, can the winning bidder please pay within 48 hours of auction ending, thanks, over the coming months I will be listing more original vinyl and original vintage music related items, please check out my other items for sale, I will combine postage for multiple items, thanks for looking
