Welcome! You are looking at a beautiful copy of the Smiths vinyl LP 33 1/3 RPM record
"The World Won't Listen"
This copy was pressed in France and released as an import to the USA in 1987.
Media Condition is Excellent, or VG++ Not up to Near Mint, but not as forgiving as "VG+" grading.
No scratches, one light scuff about 1/3 inch in diameter that IS audible
especially in the grooves between two tracks. Otherwise the record is quiet, light surface crackle throughout
I pulled the shrink wrap off (dirt gets trapped inside those things.) but I saved it for you.
The cover is in beautiful nearly mint condition, some bending on corners, a few creases along the edges.
no ringwear, no rips, no writing, no spots. Inner sleeve is also in excellent condition, no tears.
Before I list a record for sale, I remove shrink wrap;
I manually clean my records and put them into new paper sleeves if necessary.
I clean their covers and place them in 2 mil polyethylene jacket sleeves.
I take the time to listen before grading, and this is what I listen with:
a relatively new cartridge on a Technics SL-1200MK2 turntable
through an Onkyo TX-NR686 receiver,
under Koss Pro 4 AAA headphones, and my hearing is still pretty good.
I appreciate the sound of a well-made and well-cared-for record.
If I see a scuff or scratch, I play it to hear if it skips or is audible. Looks can be deceiving.
I ship by USPS Media Mail in record boxes,
with the vinyl on the outside of the record cover
and an extra piece of protective cardboard.
I re-use cushioning materials.
I grade ALL my records by listening first.
