The Smiths' final studio album and a genuinely great one — "Strangeways, Here We Come," the 1987 US Sire pressing (catalogue number 1-25649), featuring 11 tracks including "Girlfriend in a Coma," "I Started Something I Couldn't Finish," "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before," and the quietly devastating closer "I Won't Share You." Produced by Stephen Street, this was the band at their most ambitious and polished — and, as it turned out, their farewell.
This copy is in excellent condition throughout. The vinyl is clean and plays beautifully, the cover shows no seam splits or ring wear, and the original inner lyrics sleeve is present and intact. A very solid copy of a record that deserves to be heard on vinyl.
Once upon a time I was a late-'80s alternative kid who bought all of this new. Apparently aging is real, and now we're here doing Swedish Death Cleaning. LOL
