Description
From humble beginnings at Westfield College Liverpool in late 1983, I have followed this band around the UK – and since then followed Morrissey both at home and abroad!
The time has come to clear out some of my rarer gems. These come from a loving Smiths household. I will be listing some things on e-bay in the coming weeks and will be putting up a website www.retro-smiths.com to list / trade some of my rarer items. Watch this space…..!
This is the infamous and legendary USA 12” Promo of Shoplifters, released to promote the ‘Louder Than Bombs’ compilation LP. It has a Unique Promo Sleeve and plays the same both sides and at 33RPM. The sleeve is a Band shot taken outside of the famous “Albert Finney” shop and was taken from one of the band’s last ever photo shoots. SIRE PRO-A-2712.
The record is MINT, and probably the best copy you will EVER SEE ON E-BAY. The sleeve has a tiny black mark on the rear at the top middle. It may come off with a little clean.
Check out those other Smiths items I have up at the moment.
