Description
DESCRIPTION: The Smiths LP- Meat Is Murder. Early UK press with matrix ending A2/B2 ("ILLNESS AS ART"/"DOING THE WYTHENSHAWE WALTZ") and thick card printed inner sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Rough Trade ROUGH 85 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Music is clear, crisp and loud. Cover is in top shape. It is firm and square and has less than light edge wear, corner wear and negligable creasing. Spine retains nice shape and width. Inner is also really nice and clean with sharp edges and less than light wear. It does have the start of a fine 2cm split to bottom centre edge. Vinyl has been kept in a separate white inner and sleeve in a poly sleeve since i got this. Nice clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CURE/POST-PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
