Description

Full disclosure, all my albums are play graded. This is the 1980 German pressing  WB 56 827 The first song has a lot of pops almost unbearable for myself I would not play this song. I had the lp cleaned a couple times it would appear the grooves are shot from bad handling or a bad stylus, The crackles disappear after 2 minutes and the remaining minute is fine if you like this song in particular I would not buy this record. After the first song everything else plays excellent, occasional low 2-3 crackles on song 2, side 2, other than that its an excellent silent running album of unnerving music. This is not your grandfathers classical album, its very effective and sets an eerie tone that by the time the last song "Home" kicks in, its a welcome break from the previous edge of your seat stuff. This album generally sells for mad money, there are copies in VG condition going for upwards of $70. I believe this is at a price to sell for such a rare soundtrack.
