Description

I am in the process of de-cluttering my house and sadly it is time to dispose of several hundred classic LPs.  These all date from the mid 60s to the 80s.

All my LPs will have been played at least once and some of them several times.  They have however been properly looked after and stored over the years and I am only listing LPs which play to a high quality.  Each LP has been played in full prior to listing so my assessment is of the whole record, not just a few samples.  My assessments of the quality of the vinyl, sound reproduction and sleeve are based on the widely accepted Record Collector definitions.

All albums are sent first class in the UK and are bubble wrapped and then sealed in specialist hard card packaging specifically designed for LPs.  Discounts are available for multiple purchases - please contact me for details.

Postage and packing are:   £3 to UK; £4 to Europe; £6 worldwide.

I prefer payment by PayPal but will accept personal cheques, subject to the cheque clearing before the goods are dispatched.

This mono copy of the Seeds' 1966 LP "A Web Of Sound" is an english pressing on the Vocalion label - catalogue number VA-N 8062.  It is a first pressing with the matrix numbers 1B / 1B.  This is regarded as one of the original "psych" LPs and features Sky Saxon on lead vocals.  Although 43 years old, the album is in excellent condition and all the tracks play perfectly with virtually no crackle or other surface noise.  The vinyl has very few superficial surface marks, certainly nothing out of the ordinary for an LP of this age and nothing which affects the quality of playback.  The sleeve is in very good condition with virtually no creasing or scuffing, just a sticky mark in the top right hand corner where a label has been removed.  The lettering on the spine is clear.  An additional oddity about the album is that although the tracks are correct as listed, the labels are on the wrong sides i.e. Side 1 actually plays the tracks for side 2 and vice versa!

This is a rare opportunity to buy a genuine classic old psych album which is in remarkable condition!

Tracks are:

Side One:

1.   The Farmer

2.   Pictures and designs

3.   Tripmaker

4.   I tell myself

5.   A faded picture

6.   Rollin' machine

Side Two:

1.   Just let go

2.   Up in her room
