Description
The Sect
A Side: Lonely Road
B Side: I Can't Stand To Be Alone
On the Columbia Label catalog # DO-8980 made in Australia 1969
Comments:
The Sect was originally formed in Queensland 1966, the band eventually relocated to Melbourne. They broke up in 1970, reformed later as Sect III. Three members eventually released an album under the name Star Spangled Banger. Lonely Road was the first of their two single releases in Australia and probably their best. It a great lost fuzzy psych classic . If you haven't heard it before check it out on YouTube.
