The STRANGELOVES: Cara-Lin / (Roll on) Mississippi (Bang 1965)
Supposedly three brothers from Australia The STRANGELOVES were actually a three man writing/producing team from New York. Cara-Lin rocks with tremendous lead guitar, strong tom-tom beats at the bridges and a powerful honking sax ! A true Garage Mod Club sound classic and a real floorfiller (covered in France by the famous 5 Gentlemen and!) ! Mississippi is a great New-Orleans R&B inspired one ! Bad visual but plays better than it looks (check the soundclip).
