Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
- Here's a couple of rare souvenirs from the 'Pre-Fab Four'.
- The 12" yellow vinyl 5-track EP is from the 1978 album "The Rutles".
- These are both 'Promotion Only' and were never commercially released.
- "Rutlemania" is a 20-page, 8.5"x 11" book and is a hilarious collection of real and faux articles that was released to promote the 1978 NBC-TV Special "All You Need Is Cash".
- In light of the rumors that Led Zeppelin may be opening for the Rutles' long-awaited reunion tour these are indeed, highly collectable items. Apparently the snag in negotiations is that The Rutles are insisting they need both dressing rooms to accommodate their entourage and Led Zeppelin will have to use their own tour bus as a dressing room.
- The EP is Factory Sealed. The photos are from an opened copy.
- The book has never been used. It is Mint.
- Free Bonus! Four Rutles Promotional pin backs (see photos).
- These are one-owners that the Seller got new in 1978. They have been in storage for 41 years.
- FYI, George Harrison and Beatles' long-time press agent Derek Taylor fully supported this project.
