Description

The Rolling Stones -"THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST"- Decca TXS-103, blue and silver label from 1970 made in England. Vinyl appears clean and glossy with no scratches. Gatefold cover with lenticular in VG+ condition for over 50 years old. We cleaned the record using a Spin Clean MK2 record cleaner with distilled water and Spin Clean cleaner. We play tested the record down in the Iconikrock basement, using an Audio Technica ATLP120XUSB turntable. The record played very well on both sides. (see pictures). Once or twice we heard some background noise between tracks. The record is in a plain black paper inner sleeve. This a Decca label TXS-103, made in England, not the London label catalog #NPS-2 from the USA. Can you find the little Beatles pictures on the cover? This is just a cool album and the music in great, track after track. After releasing this record, which was criticized as an apparent effort on their part to respond to the Beatles Sgt Pepper, the Stones returned to their basic roots in blues rock. They did go a little overboard with the sitar on side 2, but not as well played as George Harrison. We will ship this record, securely packed in a cardboard record mailer using USPS media mail rates.
