This outstanding UK 1965 2nd pressing of their explosive debut LP is on the deep-groove, unboxed red Decca label: LK.4605

Matrix numbers: XARL-6271-2A & XARL-6272-3A

This issue contains the regular/long version of the song 'Tell Me'.

The 'KT' tax code is stamped into each run-out.

Stamper codes: 1/HB & 1/GG

Vinyl weight: 151g

Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'MacNeill Press' printed cover, complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A clean & vibrant set with some light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole mostly & a trace of the silver centre hole marker on label 1.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from two very faint paper scuffs on side 2 are unmarked in strong daylight, with nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine beneath halogen light. Tough to find a better example of this issue.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

An exceptional sounding copy on which all tracks play flawlessly. My play-check found no evidence of any groove/playwear or any clicks, pops or other such distractions. Aside from a touch of regular low-level vinyl background between tracks, it cannot be faulted.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A fine fully intact example which retains a glossy, unscratched front panel laminate where the only sign of wear are four small 'thumbnail' wrinkles and an unavoidable faint disc impression from storage.

All corners are square and unbumped and both opening edges are undamaged.

The exposed rear panel shows some signs of age, mainly handling marks, no writing or missing paper anywhere.

The fully worded spine and both seams are unstressed & unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Flat & uncreased with just natural age-toning to the paper.
