Description
Conservative grading. One of the rarest Rolling Stones LPs in existence. This is the UK LK4605 MONO first pressing of The Rolling Stones first album. The version of the song "Tell Me" used on this pressing is an outtake and should never have been released. It is noticeably slower version and of course it only runs 2 mins 52 seconds. It took me 40 years to get a copy. Only a handful exist. The matrix is XARL 6271-1A and XARL 6272-1A. The record is in VG condition visually and audibly by Goldmine Standards. It looks VG and plays through without any major pops or crackles. The record has been played by me on 3 occasions. It has some slight surface noise at intro on both sides and between songs. Otherwise it plays and sounds great. I have bought and sold records since 1973 and my ebay is 100% perfect over last 8 years. There is one significant scuff approx 1" in length that does not effect play shown in pictures . There are several small surface lines on both sides that do not effect play--the LP plays thru with no sticks, skips, etc.
LP jacket is in overall VG+ condition. There is no writing or stains. Several small wrinkles in the Clarifoil cover. No seamsplits which is amazing. Backcover is very clean--see photo. Most of these are heavily soiled--this one is not.
Be advised I paid over $1100.00 US dollars for this LP approx 18 months ago on Ebay. I have set the minimum to reasonable starting point. Payment is expected by paypal within 3 days of closing uless prior arrangements have been approved by me. No personal checks --no exceptions. This LP will be carefully packed, insured and registered for shipment. Fee is $50 for this and I will refund any amount not used-no exceptions on this fee. Copies of receipts will be provided via email. If you live in a country that I can't insure and register this shipment you will take full repsonsibility for its safe arrival--if you don't agree don't bid.
