Description
This is a copy of "Their Satanic Majestic Request" by The Rolling Stones.
Please note: I am selling my Dad's old record collection (many bought in the 60s and 70s). I am not a expert on records so I will put as much information as possible here so you know what you are buying. I have used the Record Collector's Magazine grading guide (see further down the listing) to assist me.
Please do ask questions before bidding if you want further information or I am happy to post more photos.
I will package and post according to this advice if you would like me to package otherwise please contact me immediately after the auction and I will follow your advice.

Visually there are multiple very fine scratches and and a few heavier scratches on both sides of the vinyl.
Spindle marks present on the label.
I have listened to this record all the way through and I would say it is in "good+" condition. The record plays all the way through without getting stuck or jumping. I can hear crackles and a few pops but apart from that the record sounds very good.
I would say the cover is in "good+" condition. The laminate is intact (just one small area where the laminate has started to lift) and there are no rips or tears and none of the sides are split. The spine is intact. There are a couple of superficial creases on the front of the cover. The hologram has some scatches and around the edges of the hologram the colours look faded and aged. The inside of the gatefold is very good condition. No inscriptions or drawing on the maze. (I have tried to photograph any damage).
The red original inner sleeve is present but one side is torn. (no missing pieces though so repair is possible) (please see pics for damage)
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler."
