Description

A very nice copy of the Trident Mixes by the Rolling Stones.

An unusual copy compared to what I have seen on eBay. This copy reads K & S 072 on the Sleeve but the vinyl runouts say MCG/ KS 072 - A, -B, -C, -D on each side. I have not been able to find out what company MCG is. (I don't think it is Magic Dwarf Records but perhaps it is as I bought this album in the seventies in Canada.) The other unusual thing is this is the only record I could find with the -A, -B, -C, -D on each side. Anyway you decide.

These are the "try-out" recordings for Mick Taylor to replace Brian Jones, so circa 1970 - 1971 recordings, though I don't remember exactly when this came out or when I bought it.

I would say the f sides of black vinyl are excellent. On side 1 there is a hairline on track 4 and a light scuff on track 5. On side 4 there is what looks like a scuff going across the record, but it seems to be from the factory in the pressing. I can hear a light tick between track 1 and 2, and track 2 and 3. I purchased this album and only played it maybe three times.

I have the LPs in paper with the plastic interior sleeves. These may not be original. At the time, I would replace paper sleeves with these. So may not be the original sleeves, however, no paper scuffs as a result.

The Cover sleeve seems to be excellent condition. I see some fingerprints on the front cover, some light corner wear, a couple of light paper creases top center edge, left front lower edge, some edge wear along both sides of the opening, some factory ink top left corner back cover, and some light record circle wear on back. Overall pretty nice. See the photos.
