My standard disclaimer about vinyl: As with all vinyl records (even brand new ones), at least some pops, clicks or surface noise is likely, so do not expect flawlessly pristine CD sound quality. I grade records on the following scale: Like New, Very Good (some flaws but nothing major), Good (more noticeable flaws, but still acceptable), Fair (looking pretty bad, but not a total disaster) and Poor (really awful with major defects).

SPECIFIC DETAILS ABOUT THIS RECORD:

This is the rare, out of print and collectible Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Original Master Recordings version of The Rolling Stones "Sticky Fingers" album, catalog number MFSL 1-060. As the sleeve says, it features "Half-Speed Production and Mastering by Original Mastering Works," "Specially Plated and Pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan Ltd." Interestingly, instead of an actual working zipper (as the regular edition had), the zipper on this is a gold-color foil-type solid piece.

More details:

Overall condition: Very Good.

Jacket: Very Good. Minor flaws that keep me from calling it "Like New": some minor edgewear and spine impressions, a short (1.5 inch) color-breaking vertical smooth crease near the center of the front cover (just to the right of the zipper), and some raised bumps on the paper on the back cover (apparently a manufacturing issue, because they definitely are not the result of moisture damage). I'm making these problems sound worse than you probably will think they are, but I'm picky.

Record: Very Good Plus -- glossy and clean, but there is some very minor surface noise in places. It sounds just fine for a record, but it's not sterile, noise-free CD perfection.

Labels: Some minor spindle marks, but nearly Like New.

Inner sleeve: "Special Static-Free Dust-Free Inner Sleeve," as the jacket says, is in excellent condition. Note that the separate single-sheet paper insert that has the band's photo on one side and the "tongue" logo with text on the other shows some impressions and creases, especially at the top right corner.

Add only 50 cents for each additional auction of mine that can be shipped by Media Mail (which includes records, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays and cassettes, but not comic books), after the item with the most expensive shipping.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: eBay adds a substantial premium to the cost of international shipping as part of their Global Shipping service. None of that extra money goes to me. I only get exactly the same shipping amount that a US bidder would pay, and all of the rest goes to eBay.
