Description

A really interesting collector’s copy of The Rolling Stones - Self Titled debut album

1964 UK unboxed Decca Mono LP LK.4605

2A/4A matrices.

WITH:

Side 1 track 3 named as Mona on the label in error.

Side 1 label variant 3 with the rare Hurran & Calvert credit to 'Honest I Do' printed in error, also has the incorrect Cromwell publishing credit.

Genuine original UK Mono issue.

Cover has some creasing to laminate and expected browning to back, with wear to corners and opening. Original Decca inner with edges coming away.

Vinyl - Some light scratches and scuffs but still has that lovely bright sound. Plays beautifully, a virtually crackle-free listen.

See the photos which form part of the description and give an honest view of the whole.

A previously unseen label variant Beggars Banquet in my other items. Possibly the rarest classic album on eBay this week.

See my other items for a super-rare and clean pastedown cover no 2 lp, a superb audio first press Out Of Our Heads, as well as Led Zep II and Nirvana Nevermind super rare firsts, some already listed and some coming over the next few days.

Lots of lovely first edition books and Omega vintage watches in my other items - good luck! Follow me on instagram as mrmicawber
