Description
This is a very rare LP by The Rolling Stones called 'The Rolling Stones' and is a 1964 Mono UK 1st Pressing (LK 4605). This LP plays the rare '2.52' version of 'TELL ME'. This was very quickly changed to the standard '4.06' version of 'TELL ME' on all later pressings. Only a few of these LP's were released with the '2.52' version so this LP is a rare find. IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE - that on this 1st pressing, the '2.52' version of 'TELL ME' is not only shorter than the later '4.06' version but a completely different recording. This LP has light surface marks but plays perfectly. This 1st pressing is almost impossible to find and one rarely comes up for sale. The pressing numbers for this LP are XARL-6271-1A for side one and XARL-6272-1A. The sleeve has been "well loved" and is not in the best condition. It has, at some point, been sellotaped along the top edge and this has caused a yellowing on the sleeve.
