Description

'Out of Our Heads' UK pressing destined for export [e.g. Sweden]. Matrix 1A/2A. Unboxed Decca label design with the deep grove indicating the pressing is an original from 1966. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Robert Stace. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Has been looked after down the years and only exhibits a moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are a number of light/moderate marks both sides - one of which is detailed below. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. There's absolutely no sign of groove-wear at all. Interference is pretty minimal - just a touch of light static in a couple of spots. The only deviation is a mark in 'Cry To Me' which manifests itself as a few ticks during the track. Other than that we are talking a very very nice level of playback on a very sought after and hard to find record.
Cover (Vg+) These covers are a total nightmare to find in top condition. They usually have suffered down the years, but this example is in well above average condition. A touch of laminate lift on the front - but way better than most. The rear has escaped the worst ravages of ageing. There's a touch of edge wear and at the bottom edge it has worn through very slightly. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover still retains good rigidity. A very nice example of a hard to find original.
Inner (Ex-) A bit of ageing and no splits.
