Ultra rare original true 1st US pressing of The Rolling Stones' 3rd US studio album, which was released only in the US in February, 1965. The copy has the 1st print open burgundy "Recorded in Europe" "Made in U.S.A." Full Frequency Range Recording 2.75' pressing ring London Records labels with the FFRR "Ear" logo and Mono catalog number LL3420. Incredibly rare 1st print cover with two columns of the liner notes by Andrew Loog Oldham on the back of the same length, the later pressing were censored and therefore, the right column of the liner notes is shorter than the left one as the sentences "This is THE STONES new disc within. Cast deep in your pockets for loot to buy this disc of groovies and fancy words. If you don't have bread, see that blind man knock him on the head, steal his wallet and low and behold you have the loot, if you put in the boot, good, another one sold!" were removed. The back cover also contains a misprint mentioning Ian Stewart playing organ on "Time Is On My Side", but the track is missing on the record. The cover remains in the original shrink wrap, which contains the original promotional "featuring HEART OF STONE and LITTLE RED ROOSTER" white hype sticker. The album comes with the original London Records "FFRR The Symbol of Sound Progress" poly-lined inner sleeve with the "Made in England R.S." and "U.K. Patent No. 1,072,844..." text. Original very early true 1st pressing vinyl with the very early 1st -1C / 1C matrix numbers in the runout groove. Most likely, the vinyl was pressed by Allentown Record Co. Inc. as it contains the "ARC" identifier in the trail-off vinyl of Side 2. Just like Monarch Record Mfg. Co., ARC was the subsidiary of Viewlex, Inc. The full first matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1- ARL-6691-1C; Side 2 - ARL-6692-1C ARC 2-24-5.

I grade the cover remaining the original shrink wrap as Excellent Plus. The top left corner has three barely visible staple holes. Some very light age discoloration along the mouth on the back cover. I grade the vinyl as Very Good Plus. It has some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the original London Records FFRR inner sleeve in Near Mint Minus condition. Side 1 has two light long hairlines, which are non-feelable and don't affect the playback in any way. The vinyl sounds amazing with a crisp, punchy and crystal clear sound, barely having any background noise. The clean burgundy labels are in Near Mint Minus condition are scuff and wear-free, only having several very light spindle marks seen under a strong light source.
