Just another normal day for the Stones...[heh heh..]...
An original 1st press from '73. Matrix 1W/1W. Stampers 1G/1BN. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. Original Decca inner is present too date coded to Sep-1973 [1 month before 1st release]. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. This is essentially a b-sides compilation. Would suggest this is probably of most interest to a Stones nut who needs to complete the collection by hoovering up the b-sides.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an a mostly Excellent level of playback with one deviation per side. A really decent player and plays clean predominantly. Expect a little light background in one of the quieter tracks per side. A couple of ticks in one isolated spot per side. Nothing upfront at all. Much better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. Someone has clearly been very careful with it down the years. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) A smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 50 years use. But this one is exhibiting excellent colour retention. Clean and flat with just the occasional stress crease at edges. Minimal edge wear and the spine is 95%+ intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
