It's not often you can say a vintage STONES record is RARE, but this is one of those fleeting moments when something does truly qualify for the tag of 'RARE'. 'Let It Bleed' was released in late 1969 on unboxed Decca in Mono & Stereo. Original Mono copies are sought after for the mix and due to the fact that it was not in issue for long before Decca and the rest of the industry phased out Mono in spring 1970. During the winter period Decca changed their label design from the 60's Unboxed design to the 70's boxed style. And for a very short window of time used Mono on this new style of label. These copies were, as a result, pressed in very small numbers. Here is a chance to pick up a TRUE rarity at a very reasonable price. 
Matrix 2A/2A - Mother stampers 1/1. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the mono/stereo window on the rear. Also included is the original red mono Decca inner sleeve. Please note the inner sleeve is an early version prior to the 'London Bach Choir' credit being redacted!
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) Looks in great shape and has only seen a moderate level of use. Under close there are a number of light marks - mostly on side 2. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback on Side 1 and a VERYGOOD+ one on side 2. Side 1 has clearly seen less use and playback is superb - in reality very little to complain about at all - a very solid performance. Side 2 has clearly seen a bit more use so do expect a bit of static crackle in a couple of tracks noticeable in the quieter sections. The interference is only light and never really becomes invasive. Boy are there some great tracks on this LP...I think this is probably the STONES most solid performance on record. Please note one of the labels has been signed.
Cover (Vg) Showing signs of its age, but still holding its own. Particularly on the rear - its showing signs of wear and age. The front is still in pretty decent condition. And then there's a bit of edge wear - on the spine it has actually worn through in one 1 inch spot. There's a name written on the bottom right corner of the rear. Other than that still in very solid condition and most importantly the correct version to match the LP!
Inner (Vg-) Bit of creasing and the sides have been taped up.
