RARELY SEEN, HIGHLY COLLECTABLE INVESTMENT PIECE, DECCA DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE VINYL 45 IN ORIGINAL **DECCA COMPANY BAG**.
This is the RARE 1966 UK Decca DEMONSTRATION Vinyl 45 for The Rolling Stones UK single release, originally released on the 23-9-66.
The Vinyl 45 is on the Blue with Silver Print Decca Record Labels with the Traditional Bold Silver ‘A’ label on side 1and the wording ‘DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE’ printed to both sides of the record labels, together with the catalogue number of F.12497.
Both record labels are in beautiful Near Mint condition, superb very clean record labels to both sides, all the printed text is unfaded and clearly legible, all that is visible are a few signs of play to the centre spindle hole.
The machine stamped matrices are: Side 1: XDR-38957-T1-1C, and side 2: XDR-38958-T1-1C.
The machine stamper lettering and numbers on both sides are, 1D 1D.
Both sides of the vinyl disc are in superb Near Mint condition, very clean vinyl surfaces with NO deep scratches or scuffs, all that is visible are a couple of light surface hairlines.
The Demonstration Record comes in it’s Orange Decca Company Bag, and is in Excellent Plus condition, the bag shows light record indentation, but no seam splits or tears.
Both sides of the disc play Superbly Well with a clear powerful sound quality, there are no clicks, pops, or skips. The disc sits 100% flat on turntable, with NO dishing or warping.
Rolling Stones Demo’s in are becoming impossible to find in this immaculate condition, – not to be underestimated this rare Demonstration Record can only increase in value over the coming years, this is a very clean example, and play’s with great sound quality
