Description

I am in the process of converting all my vinyl to mp3. I have always tried to look after my records and always replaced them to their cover after playing.

I have listened to the recordings before listing.

This is the Rolling Stones album, Goat’s Head Soup, on the Rolling Stones Label released in 1973. First pressing A2/B1. Catalogue number, COC 59101

Both sides of the vinyl are in excellent condition. Very clean and shiny with very few signs of wear. All tracks on each side play very well except for a small amount of crackle at the start to track 3 on side 1.

The matrix number on the run off edge of side 1 is COC 59101 A2 and on side 2 it is COC 59101 B1. ROLLING STONES RECORDS is also scratched into the run off edges on both sides.

The spindle centres show very few signs of wear. The labels on both sides are very clean with no signs of wear.

The front of the gatefold sleeve is in good condition, showing a few signs of wear. All text is legible.The back of the sleeve shows signs of ring wear and has a number of indentations (see photo) .

The interior of the gatefold is in very good condition with very few signs of wear or creasing.

The edges of the gatefold are all intact and show a few signs of wear as do the corners and opening edges. The spine is intact and has a little wear and all text is clearly visible.

The two inserts are in excellent condition.

The album will be posted in cardboard packets with cardboard stiffener.
