Description

An original 1st issue from 1970 on the UK Decca label. Matrix -4W/-1W. Heavy set vinyl - not the later flimsy stuff. The record comes housed in a front laminated, purple bordered, original cover printed by the Clout and Baker. The labels hold the incorrect publishing date of 1970 - they should in fact show 1968/69/70. Also, please note the font on the label is consistent with 1st issue - GET YER YA YA's OUT! in a bolder larger font. 
Vinyl (NM) A beautifully preserved shiny record which has clearly only seen the very lightest of use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks, but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEARMINT level of playback. Don't under estimate how unusual it is to find a proper vintage LP in this kind of condition. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with prefect clarity and no interference at all. Not even in 'Love In Vain' is there any sign of use. We detected just a couple of light crackles and that was all that's vaguely worth mentioning. The actual audio quality is top notch and manages to resolve every last nuance of the performance. From the shouts in the crowd to the high pitch wailing of the P.A. system - perfect reproduction! You are not going to beat the audio on offer hear no matter which version of this album you buy.
Cover (Ex+) Again, it has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. Shiny front cover with very little sign of laminate lift or creasing. The rear is still perfectly white with practically no fading. Difficult to imagine finding a much better example than this. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover has maintained excellent rigidity and retains an almost new feel to it.
