This is an extremely rare white label promotional copy of the Rolling Stones’ 1964 US debut album, England’s Newest Hitmakers on London Records. The earliest copies of the first few US Rolling Stones albums featured US printed covers containing UK pressed discs, with the highly collectible ffrr labels. This is one of a very few UK pressed, white label promotional copies of the Stones debut, with “Not For Sale” and “Made In England” at the top of the labels, and a promotional sticker on the album cover. The free full color photo of The Rolling Stones that was included inside is no longer with the album. My mother received this album brand new in 1964 from my grandfather who owned a radio station and she hung the photo on her bedroom wall. This album and cover are in good condition for its age.
