Description
The time has come for me to sell off some of my records many having been with me since the day of their release. This offering is SKL 4852 STEREO The Rolling Stones Between the Buttons. I’m no record expert so I looked up past listings and it appears that the stereo offering is rare and super rare for this particular LP which has the DECCA label text without a box and Made in England by The Decca Record Co. Ltd. Apparently demand for stereo recordings was tiny – trust us to be different! I won’t give gradings, I’ll just describe what I see. The front of the cover is in quite good condition though it does have fine lines and few creases on it. The opening has some scuffs. The back of the cover is a bit grubby, but not disgustingly so. The inner sleeve has playing instructions relating to stereo music. It’s in good clean condition although creased at the corners. The record has some fine scratches and finger smudges (I haven’t even attempted to clean the surface) and you can hear the odd crackle. The DECCA text on the label is unboxed and the matrix is XZAL-7644-4K. I hope it goes to a good home, but then again I won’t mind too much if it hangs around here for a little longer as a reminder of fun times.
