Description
An original 1970 pressing of Between The Buttons on the UK Decca label. Matrix 6/6. Stampers 1-UM/1-UK. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by James Upton with a pinched spine. Also included is the orignal blue and white Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal - all we detected was a couple of crackles in 'Go Home' due to a small mark. Other than playback really is of the highest standard. Beautifully mastered sound with full resolution and bags of detail.
Cover (Ex+) In incredible condition particularly given that this cover is so often aged like anything on the rear. Not here! This is quite possibly the best copy I've ever got my hands on. The front is immaculate and shiny like new. The rear is completely free from ageing or marks - very very unusual. Edge wear is minimal too the openings are sharp! The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A top-level example.
Inner (Ex) Lightest of ageing and no splits.
