Description
An original pressing of 'Around and Around' on the French Decca Black Lozenge label from October 1965. Matrix -1/-1. Mono. The record comes housed in its original cover dated '10-65' and also included is the original tracing paper Decca inner sleeve. 100% complete. 100% original.
Cover (VG+) Has been very carefully looked after and needs to be as these covers were notoriously delicate! Shiny front cover and a rear that is only exhibiting some light ageing. Edgewear is minimal and the text on the spine is intact. An excellent example of an early and hard to find cover... particularly given its relative fragility.
Vinyl (VG) The record has clearly seen some use, but has still been well cared for down the years. There are a number of light marks visible on the record, but nothing feelable or likely to cause issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, VERY GOOD level of playback. There are a few crackles audible in places, but they don't really hinder what is in fact a very decent level of playback. The actual audio quality comes across really well and represents a very enjoyable listen indeed.
Inner (VG-) A couple of splits have been repaired neatly with sellotape, but in otherwise excellent condition. Again, the inner is incredibly fragile so finding one in this condition is probably pretty difficult.
