Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for:  The Rolling Stones - Aftermath - Original MONO Vinyl LP album from 1966.

MONO

LK 4786

UNBOXED DECCA

Vinyl Condition: VG (Very good for its age. Record does have some visible surface marks and scratches but is NOT the usual rubbish which we all tend to see on a regular basis. The record certainly is one of the better early copies that I have seen. There is a nice shine to the vinyl and dispite some large but superficial surface marks and scratches the record plays great with really nice clear sound quality. There is some light crackle and the odd click and pop but overall a really nice condition copy for the price and as  I said earlier this is not the usual rubbish which people keep advertising as so called very good. This one really is VG. Just to summerise, nice shiny condition with some visible but minor surface scratches and light lines. Plays great with no sticks or jumps and is a real pleasure to listen to).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (I don't think the inner sleeve is the original. It is tidy though with some age related yellowing).

Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Front laminated sleeve is good for its age. There is an approx 1cm tear at the opening edge and some creases around it. Some minor creases and scratches to the front but very nice condition really. The back has some yellowing and some stain marks but no writing. Overall very good for its age).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
