This exceptional UK 1st mono pressing dates from initial April 1966 release on the deep-grooved Decca label: LK.4605
Both labels have the earliest typeface & layout.
Matrix numbers: XARL-7209-5B & XARL-7210-5A
Stamper codes: 1/M & 1/BH
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in a front laminated, non-flipback 'Robert Stace' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original Decca poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & bright pair bearing just a handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Close examination directly beneath halogen light reveals only a couple of harmless wispy marks from the few times this disc has been removed from its inner-sleeve, together with a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Being one of the first LPs to last more than 50 minutes, the grooves on this disc were cut very shallow and finding a good sounding copy is not easy. However, this top-sounding example has been played just a handful of times on quality equipment and is hard to fault and is really as good as it gets for this pressing. The sound quality throughout is clean & unworn with just a touch of regular low-level vinyl between tracks but no clicks, pops or any other such distractions or faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A very fine example with a clean, glossy front panel laminate bearing just a hint of storage with a tiny bruise and small bend to the lower right corner only. The other corners and both opening edges are nice and sharp with no signs of wear. The exposed rear panel is clean & white overall with just a touch of toning along the upper edge. Both seams and the fully worded spine are fully intact making this one a strong candidate for your final upgrade.
