Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
A compilation of sorts issued in Germany. It's mostly songs from their 1964-album 12x5, and some singles and EP-tracks from the same year.
Here's my Stones trivia: The instrumental "2120 South Michigan Avenue" had a great blues driving beat or shuffle. Where did the title come from? It was the original address of Chess Records in Chicago.
- This copy appears to be the real deal; a 1964 original mono pressing.
- The catalog number seems to confirm it.
- It may be a First Pressing but I can't determine that from the German matrix numbers.
- It is on very heavy vinyl.
- On the red box Decca (Germany) label.
- The glossy/laminate cover is on light weight board. It has tight seams and no bumps. There are slight signs of ring wear on front and back.
- The included plain white paper die-cut inner sleeve is fine but I have replaced it with a plastic lined rice paper inner sleeve.
- This is a one-owner. Seller acquired it new in the sixties. It has been in storage for almost 50 years.
