This ORIGINAL MONO Version of The Rolling Stones, 12X5 is in amazing condition for a October 1964 Release. This features the original Maroon label and is an early US Pressing. LONDON RECORDS LL3402. Includes original insert.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
- Late 1964 pressing on the maroon label. These were actually the first pressings of this (US) LP to actually be manufactured in the US. There is some debate as to whether these dark maroon US records were manufactured at the same time as 'first editions' made in England.
- Label variation which sees the title as "12 by 5" instead of "12 X 5'.
- The back cover misspells the song 'Congratulations' as 'Congradulations'. This is corrected on the disc label.
- First catalogue number on cover, second on label.
