Description

This auction is for the famed "Babyfingers" EP; one of the more rare items of Residents history! Nice tunes on it as well!

Babyfingers if from my personal collection. I was a member of the W.E.I.R.D. fan club, and bought it as soon as it was released. It has been kept safely in a plastic sleeve, and is in as mint condition as one could expect after 27 years. The record itself has been played once, on a high-quality turntable. The sleeve is very good indeed, only showing very slight wear on the bottom (where it rested inside the record case), and a very slight dent in one corner, which has been there since I received it in the mail.

I find this record listed on two other places on the internet: disgogs, where it's $185, and gemm, where it's $330.

As the buyer, you will also be interested to know that you are buying this record from one of the few people who have had direct dealings with the Residents. I was the original composer for the film, "The Census Taker". I had to leave the country for classes before the score was finished, so the Residents were hired to do it in my stead. I also have a signed letter in my possession from the Cryptic Corp giving me permission to cover any of the Residents' songs that I ever wish to. I'm also one of the few people who have actually been inside the famed "444 Grove Street".

Happy Bidding!
