Description
The first single by The Queers. 1982 Handwritten sleeve with credits Bass player Tulu was longtime friend of mine and he gave this to me when it came out in 1982. He wrote on the label below The Queers and above the hole, Best wishes to Clyde from The Queers. The credits were handwritten by Tulu, the stage name of Scott Gildersleeve. Joe King, Guitar Wimpy, Drums On the reverse side Scott wrote his address where he lived with his mother Barbara in Portsmouth NH. It was in the basement of that house that I first heard Scott and Joe and Jack trying out songs and making up band names before they were able to make this recording. Shortly after this Scott and I drove Joe down to Alphabet City in New York where he wanted to relocate. Thus this version of The Queers was over.
