Description
The Prodigy - Poison XL Recordings Label - XLT58 1995 UK First Pressing on Black Vinyl
This listing is for a sought after original UK pressing of the smash hit Poison from Prodigy. Very difficult to find original Prodigy records in nice condition this one doesn't disappoint - a great copy of my favourite Prodigy track, the bassline is just like nothing else I've ever heard.
I am very tempted to keep it but I have the albums so would just collect dust.
Please check out my other listings for other rarities and classics across various genres.
All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Nice condition record only the odd light scratch nothing deep or intrusive. Some of the glossy finish has dulled so a machine clean would probably pay dividends here. Classic XL labels are in great condition with no pen marks and just the expected spindle marks under a bright light.
Record Audio - VG+ Only light surface noise on run in and on quieter moments of which there aren't many!! Great sounding record, I love The Prodigy on vinyl, my neighbours must agree as they put a brick through my window so they could hear it better :) Awesome bass and nice clear mids as usual.
Record Sleeve - VG+ Nice condition sleeve just some light shelf wear on the corners. Spines and edges are in good condition and the sleeve is made of thick card so no issues with ring wear. Record is stored in a plain white inner sleeve which is also in good condition.
All questions answered and offers considered. Thanks for looking and please follow me and check out my other listings as they appear. I work full time and have 3 children so please forgive any delay in communication but should be within 24 hours.
