Description

This product is a fully signed / autographed copy of The Pretenders' debut vinyl LP from 1979.

Signed on the front of the sleeve by all four original members -

Chrissie Hynde.
Pete Farndon.
James Honeyman Scott.
Martin Chambers.

Pete Farndon and Martin Chambers both utilised the PRETENDERS lettering on the sleeve.
Pete using the P for the start of his name, and Martin using the N for the end of his first name and the ERS for the end of his surname.

The band signed a number of these first edition records for promotional purposes.
Consistent with others on the market / sold, Chrissie Hynde’s signature is in red ink with the rest of the bands signatures in black ink.

The LP is a first edition collector's item in a 12" black vinyl format with a stereo audio channel. It features the original inner sleeve and cover, all in very good condition.

Vinyl record is in VG+ condition. Has been professionally cleaned and has no visible marks, scuffs or scratches.
Very minor surface crackle between tracks.

Picture inner sleeve VG, small corner bend and soiling bottom right corner.

Outer sleeve with signatures graded VG, obviously it’s been written on…
Also some minor ringwear, slight bumps
to corners from storage and some creasing / soiling from handling.
Also has original hype sticker advertising the inclusion of the advance singles.

Produced by Real Records in the UK, this iconic album showcases the band's alternative, rock, and punk genre, making it a valuable and hard to find addition to any music lover's collection.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
Unfortunately there is no letter of authenticity etc with this item.
It has been in my possession and collection for around 35 years and everything about it
is consistent with other signed copies on the market.
