Description
The Prestige All Stars, Donald Byrd, Jerome Richardson, Kenny Burrell, Hank Mobley, Mal Waldron, Doug Watkins and Art Taylor, together for "All Night Long" on Prestige LP 7073. First mono pressing- 447 West 50th Street label, deep grooves and RVG in the runout dead wax.
Cover: VG+ The laminated front has good sheen and bright colors, with some bottom seam wear, but no splits. The top seam is undamaged and the spine is fully legible. All corners have small rubs, and the opening edge shows fraying, with a bit of the laminate lifting. The back is yellowing somewhat and a name and address are written in faded ink across the center top.
Vinyl: EX+ This LP has been very well cared for, with virtually nil visible surface wear- no scuffing or scratches. There is one pressing "pimple" on side A. I try to always grade conservatively, and I would have graded it NM, but for some faint spindle tracks on both labels. The vinyl is so pristine, I refuse to put it on my turntable any longer for fear of possible mishandling it and marring it's beauty.
