Description
Now reduced so great investment. This is the original album from the actual Pogues launch event of this album on the HMS Belfast on the London Thames in 1985. And what a night that was! The band came across the Thames on a row boat all dressed as pirates to get on the warship. There was free rum all night and I think one or two of the journo's fell into the Thames. Comes with auographs of all band members plus the promotion material from that event, plus 3 photo's. There are two copies of the same photo of the band in front of the gasworks and one portrait of Shane. The vinyl is in mint condition as I used another record to play. The edge of the cover is a bit worn but just on the edge, see photo. Everything else, the photo's, vinyl etc just like brand new and all the autographs are clear, even Shane's!
