The Playboys “Shotgun / Jungle Fever” Promo 7"

Absolutley brilliant early work from Scott Engel (aka Scott Walker of The Walker Brothers). Along with his friend Buddy Williams, they put out thi sfailed single on the small Rib label in 1959.  Scott wrote both tracks.  They are actually quite brilliant instrumentals somewhat like the TV themes put out by The Marketts later in the 60’s… Jungle Fever has a Batman like beat.
Rare disc, it plays EX but has some surface marks, one of which looks large and bad though it is purely a surface mark: there are no scratches, skips or jumps, so otherwise a nice copy.

Of interest to collectors of both Scott Engel and The Walker Brothers.
