Description
Released in 1971, Phase-III marked The Osmonds' transition from teen pop idols into a harder rock-oriented sound. The album became one of the group's biggest successes, featuring the hit singles "Yo-Yo" and "Down By The Lazy River," and showcased the brothers writing and performing much of their own material.
This original U.S. MGM pressing (SE 4796) includes the desirable large fold-out poster, an insert that is frequently missing from used copies. The jacket is also preserved in its original factory shrink wrap, making it an attractive copy for collectors. Phase-III is considered one of the strongest albums in The Osmonds' catalog and helped establish the band as more than just a pop vocal group.
