ARTIST: The Nutmegs, Picture Sleeve EP 45, 1960 LABEL: Herald, HEP 452 SONGS: Story Untold / Betty Lou / Comin' Home / Whispering Sorrows Original pressing of the Nutmegs' only EP, with the classic hit, Story Untold–a song right up there with Earth Angel as one of the most thrilling and beautiful doo-wop ballads ever. Singer Leroy Griffin had an incredible voice–it was the sound of a desperate angel! I have seen a later version of this record with a different label. This is the original label, yellow with "Herald" in black script.
