Unique and rare find.
45 Vinyl: Label no spindle marks is clean and crisp. White promo label. Vinyl is NM. Play graded sound is clean and clear, no visible defects.
Picture sleeve: VG Colors are vivid, Tattering and small tears along edges. Writing of a name and address on the back.
Post card: Excellent condition. Some aging/ slight yellowing of paper. Purple and black lettering.
Beautiful and vividly colorful psychedelic artwork that is Peter Max / Beatle-esque in appearance on this extremely rare over size (7 3/4 in square) picture sleeve -- appears to be a mailer that went out to radio stations as a promo and included a post card from Aki Aleong the actor, musician and music executive from Hollywood, Ca. The post card is included. I have researched this very rare item and have not found any examples of this 45 that includes the picture sleeve mailer or postcard Dis-cogs Pop-sike Goldmine Jerry Osbourne G
Rusty Evans is the prominent member of this band -- The Nervous Breakdown. A promoter of Rockabilly, Folk, Psychedelia and Country artist. In Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Member of The Deep, The Hitchhikers, New Christie Minstrels, The New Rail, The Freak Scene. Part of Greenwich Village folk scene. Recorded with The Deep the album Psychedelic Moods which is reportedly the first album to use the word psychedelic in it's title. Another album Psychedelic Psoul was recorded with the same musicians under the band name of The Freak Scene. Renewed interest when I Dig Your Mind was recently covered by Iggy Pop in 2016. In later years, Rusty toured as a Johnny Cash tribute band with his son Danny.
