The Nerve - Magic Spectacles/ Come The Day

(Page One Records POF 055 UK 7" 1968)


This is a UK original 7" single pressing. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red & silver "Page One" labels. These have a 3 pronged centre. The record has 1st press -1/ -1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original "Page One" company paper sleeve.

A great late 1960's Psych-Rock-Mod/ Psych-Pop 7" single. The B-side, in my opinion, is the better of the two tracks. It is well worth checking out on Youtube if you are unfamiliar with the track.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light.  The paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. They are mainly on the A-side. Overall, Very Good+ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There ae no clicks or pops. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
