The Monkees - Last Train To Clarksville/ Take A Giant Step

(RCA Victor RCA 1547 UK 7" 1966)

This is a UK original Demo 7" pressing. The record has custom green & silver RCA "Demo" labels which have a large "A" on the A-side label. There is a small number factory stamped on both labels. The record has 1st press -1C/ -1C matrix stampers.It comes with its original "RCA" company paper sleeve.



Vinyl: This single was kept in an outer PVC sleeve for some time. This has reacted with the vinyl & has left some mild to more moderate PVC marks which are primarily on the B-side. Otherwise, there are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 small & light marks. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG++ condition & show light to mild spindle wear. The company paper sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Good+ to VG overall. There is some light, mild or more moderate crackle noticeable in the quieter places.
