THE MONKEES - 'HEAD'
This scarce NEAR MINT 1st UK MONO pressing of the soundtrack to their feature film of the same name dates from this album's initial release in December 1968
It is on the orange mono RCA label: RD 8015
Matrix numbers: WZRM-5387 1 & WZRM-5388 1
Disc weight: 143g
Housed in a front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed mono cover Complete with its original die-cut 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair with just two or three faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: MINT
Both deep-glossy playing surfaces are remarkably 'as new' and totally unmarked both in strong daylight AND directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp - not even a paper hairline in sight. Both sides of this pristine copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This perfect sounding copy received less than a handful of extremely careful plays on high-end equipment by its one previous audiophile owner. My careful play-check detected not a trace of audible wear of any description throughout, and I am happy and confident to describe the sound as flawless. You will not need or possibly be able to find a better copy of this pressing.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A clean & fully intact example with some general, light storagewear, most noticeably on the matt black rear panel. However, there are no seam splits, writing or any other such major faults throughout.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
General storage creasing and the disc's number written down one side aside a retailer's stamp.
