Modern Lovers - The Original Modern Lovers LP
Original 1981 pressing on Mohawk recorded in 1972 by Kim Fowley, before it got reissued on Bomp a few months later in 1981.
 
This original release has one song that was later deleted the song 'I'm Straight' and has  ads on the back cover that were also deleted on the reissue

The record is free of scratches but has a lot of inner sleeve residue marks so I graded it VG+. Even tho it looks really bad it surprisingly sounds as good or better than you would expect from a record in VG+ condition, (more details below).

The record was unplayed until today when I played it to hear how much the massive amount of inner sleeve residue marks on the disc affected the sound. BUT, despite how bad it looks it sounded fine, really no more surface noise or crackles than you would expect from a record. Tho often inner sleeve residue marks (even those records that have a lot less than this LP has) are rather crackly sounding. FWIW, my system is not state of the art so I guess it's possible that playing this on such a system would not sound as good. Also, the photos only shows a small amount of the inner sleeve residue marks that are on both sides of this record.
Inner sleeve residue marks are caused by using non-acid free inner sleeves. This can occur usually after  a long period of time and especially when stored in humid conditions.
The sealed copy I also have for sale on ebay more than likely also has some inner sleeve residue marks. It might have less than this open copy or the same amount but probably has some noticeable surface noise or crackles on the 3 quiet songs on the LP even tho this open copy surprisingly didn't
