Description
This is the second press,1976, 'Home of the Hits' label release, distributed by Playboy Records. Six of the tracks were produced as demos by the Velvet Underground's John Cale in 1972. It's a landmark album which was heavily influential at the time and continues to inspire, due to it's energy, invention and sheer exuberance. Owned by myself from new, it has had minimal play and still looks and sounds as fresh as the day I bought it. The sleeve has some edgeware from storage but is made from heavy-duty card and is still hanging together well structurally. Comes in the original Berserkley inner-sleeve. Vinyl rating is conservative, the disc is very close to a near mint grade.
