Another item from Ricky Young, Quality Artifacts, Springfield, Vermont. 
The Modern Jazz Quartet: Django, 1958 Prestige PRLP 7057 Record, 2nd Pressing NJ

  • A very nice record, it play tested fine with normal ticks and pops, but no skips.
  • The cover is a bit musty smelling, having come from storage at a Vermont estate.  It has corner wear and surface rubbing as well.
  • No liner with this record.
  • The Modern Jazz Quartet: Milt Jackson (vibes), John Lewis (piano), Percy Heath (bass), Kenny Clarke (drums)
  • Recorded 1953-1955 as noted on the back cover
  • The original pressing was released in 1957.  This is the 1958 second pressing with the NJ address on the labels.  Note that the back cover has the NY address for the free catalog.
