Description
- Up for bid is the Midnighters Their Greatest Hits on Federal 541. This is the original Yellow Cover issue. It is the 12"version. (Wish it was the 10"). Song Selection is:
Side 1 - Work With Me Annie, Moonrise, Sexy Ways, Get It, Switchie Witchie Titchie, It's Love Baby (24 Hours a Day)
Side 2 - Annie Had a Baby, She's the One, Annie's Aunt Fannie, Crazy Loving (Stay with Me), Henry's Got Flat Feet, Tore Up Over You
Great early, very rare rock and roll rhythm and blues record. Featuring Hank Ballard of the Twist Fame.
Cover is what it is - seam split on two sides - left and top - completely. Bottom seam is solid. There was tape at one time on the cover - but long ago seemed to have come off. Beyond the seam splits and tape residue - cover really doesn't look too bad.
The Vinyl although having some visual scractches and scuffing plays very nicely. First song on each side has a bit of scratching and popping - probably rating a VG, rest of the record plays very nicely with some slight popping and small surface noise. Very listenable probably a VG plus. Very nice. Great sound for an older record that obviously wasn't greatly cared - but danced to. Of course if it doesn't meet your expectations returns are accepted.
